Thank you for Relief Efforts
By Richard MyersPosted: 01/31/2025
I was very touched at receiving a lovely hand-delivered gift basket and air purifier filter yesterday. Being a caregiver is often a lonely, unappreciated job, and Wayne's visit really brightened my day. My husband, John, was happy with the goodies, especially the chocolate hazelnut candy, pretzels and jelly, and we installed the emergency flashlights, read Suzi's "What to do when the Lights Go Out," and replaced batteries in flashlights to bring us up to date in our disaster preparedness.
The new purifier made my life a bit easier, freeing me from carting purifiers from room to room. We're all set, now. The evacuation and subsequent cleaning and dealing with the smoky air was really draining my energy. The village gifts helped me get back up on top of things. Thank you very much!
