Bill Gould, The First

On February 28th, we were joined by Brian Biery and Bill Gould, V. Brian introduced Bill who presented a very engaging story of his grandfather’s grandfather. Bill’s great-great-great grandfather escaped from slavery, served in the Union Navy during the Civil War, and went onto a distinguished life and became a leader in his community. This is a story of great fortitude and talent leading up to our presentation today. The interview is available on our YouTube Channel on 1619 with Bill Gould. 


Our next presentation will be on the third Friday of March, March 21st at 12pm pacific. We are working to confirm a presentation but our scheduling has been somewhat disrupted by the fire. When a presenter is confirmed, we will send announcements to mailing list.
