A Life In Poetry

Sally Currie, the unofficial poet laureate of Pasadena village gave an interesting reading of her poetry last December. Other circumstance, not related to Sally at all, delayed our recognition of her presentation.

Sally's presentation was a poetry reading from her collection of poems, that she has created through out her life as a poet. She presented her poems in roughly chronological order, taking us through her many exciting and insightful experiences. She has mastered the art of expressing her emotions through words, and drew us in. It was a fascinating and very engaging tour. The poetry left us wanting more so we asked for an encore. She responded in turn with another very wonderful presentation, which gave us a new experience with her other works. The different poems gave us a different point of view into her very exciting world. Nothing felt stale or redundant.  The event was so electric we couldn't capture it on film.

Take the time to listen to this recording of Sally's Presentation. To learn about the varied adventurous and engaging life of one of our members.
