SAN MARINO MOTOR CLASSIC
By Blog MasterPosted: 09/02/2021
Pasadena Village’s new Outreach Team debuted at the San Marino Motor Classic on Sunday, August 22. Village Members and volunteers staffed a booth near the VIP area and were able to engage with 100s of attendees, raising the visibility of Pasadena Village and getting contact information from dozens of people who were interested in learning more about membership, our programs, volunteering, and our Business Partner Program.
Thanks to the amazing Outreach Team who welcomed visitors to our booth, it was a very successful event for the Village! Pasadena Village's Prize Wheel included prizes from booth sponsors Pegasus Home Health Care, Barbaro, Chinen, Pitzer & Duke, LLP, Margarite Buitrago, CVS Pharmacy, Trader Joe's. Everyone who stopped by our booth won a prize and the grand prize winners went home with gift cards from Amazon, Nordstrom’s, Starbucks, CVS, and a free photo consultation from Margarite Buitrago.
The Village is so grateful to Board Member Ron Stoffers who suggested Pasadena Village have a presence at the Motor Classic. Ron is on the event organizing committee and stated, “I have attended the show in the past and work to recruit and nurture valuable sponsors and exhibitors like the Pasadena Village. I am truly humbled by the folks that put this event together. The work they put in, the money they raise, and the benefits to the community are spectacular.”
The San Marino Motor Classic was established in 2011 and is held each summer in beautiful Lacy Park. It is the successor of the Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance. This year, thousands of spectators enjoyed one of the most diverse collections of classic cars at any car show anywhere. In all there were 480 vehicles spread out like a giant automotive floral arrangement on Lacy Park’s three-plus acres. Proceeds from the event benefit Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA, the Rotary Club of San Marino, and Cancer Support Community Pasadena. View photos and short videos of some of the classic cars on Pasadena Village’s Facebook page.
