Come to the Village, a poem

COME TO THE VILLAGE!

Come to the Village

It’s such a cool place

And, in normal times

We meet face to face.

For now, we’ve adapted

To meeting online.

It was an adjustment,

But we’re doing fine.

We have ZOOM discussions

And some people walk.

We’ve people who’ll call you

If you need to talk.

There’s even a coffee klatch

For those so inclined.

You’ll find some companions

Who are of like mind.

You can start your own group

If you are a leader

Join Spanish or the book group,

If you are a reader.

Whatever your interests

You’ll find some friends

So check out the Village

It pays dividends.
