Reflection from PUSD Intern Isabella "Izzy" Roberts

My time at Pasadena Village has been one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had. Throughout my internship, I learned how important community is and how much of a difference people can make when they choose to step up and help others. During my time here, I helped set up events, managed social media, and assisted with different tasks around the office, which allowed me to learn something new every day. 

What stood out to me the most, though, was the people. Getting to know both the staff and the Villagers, listening to their stories, and hearing their different perspectives was truly eye-opening. Every conversation reminded me how valuable it is to connect with others and learn from their experiences. This internship has helped me grow both personally and professionally, and it has prepared me for future opportunities in ways I never expected. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to intern at Pasadena Village, and I will always look back on this experience with appreciation.
