Surprise! It’s the year 2020 in the Gregorian calendar and each of us is still alive!  Who could have predicted?  Who expected? Congratulations!  You must have been doing something right!

I was struck anew this year of the centerpiece theme of the holiday celebration,  Peace!  Struck, probably, because I couldn’t find much peace inside.  I looked, and found chaos politically, resentments mentally, pain and struggle physically, and great wastes of time in pursuit of my daily life.  I’ve lived long enough to have learned more about peace-practice than it seems.

So, our subject for Tuesday January 7 is the practice of inner peace.
