The History of African-Americans in Pasadena
By Richard MyersPosted: 01/25/2021
A presentation on 'The History of African-Americans in Pasadena' was given by Brian Biery exploring stories about Black Pasadena and discussed why they are relevant today. Brian has compiled an amazing variety of source materials that document what it has been like for African-Americans to survive in the golden land of roses and oranges.
Brian added credibility to his presentation with the comments of several African-American friends who live in Pasadena and had various experiences, particularly in Pasadena schools.
