He has shared the stage with Janet Jackson, Marc Anthony, Joan Sebastian, Jesse Cook and Placido Domingo. He has recorded a duet with classical guitarist Leona Boyd which was nominated for a Juno Award (the Canadian Grammy), and performed for Carmen Elektra and Dave Navarro's televised wedding on MTV.  In 2012 he joined forces with Flamenco Guitarist, Benjamin Woods, to form Heavy Mellow, a group that performs flamenco covers of heavy metal songs and in 2015 was asked to record an album with heavy metal singer, Terry Ilous, featuring spanish guitar covers of rock classics.  Currently Luis is using the pandemic downtime to write and record a new CD entirely by himself in his home studio in Los Angeles.
