Vaccine Resources

Free COVID-19 Vaccines

Nearly all insurance plans cover the cost of COVID-19 vaccines. If you don't have insurance or your plan doesn't cover routine vaccinations, My Turn will provide a list of locations that offer vaccines at no cost for the uninsured.

All current COVID-19 vaccines are considered "updated vaccines" per CDC guidance.

You can get your COVID-19 and flu vaccine at the same time! Just schedule your COVID-19 vaccination and select the option to also receive a flu vaccine right before confirming your appointment.

Pasadena Health Department is now only administering a limited supply of COVID-19 vaccines to those who are uninsured or underinsured, or children enrolled in Medi-Cal

Free Flu Vaccines

The CDC released guidelines this year that people 65 and older should get a higher dose or adjuvanted flu vaccine. Learn more on the CDC website. Huntington Health stresses that "it is important that Pasadena residents and our neighbors throughout the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding communities take steps to guard against the flu."

Flu Vaccines for Pasadena Residents

Huntington Health also offers free flu shots at their community clinics, but the standard dose will be provided, not the high dose recommended for people 65 and older. You can get information at the Huntington Health website or call 1-800-903-9233.

Seek out the high dose flu shot at your local pharmacy or physician.
