Great Decisions, a program of the Foreign Policy Association, began 50 years ago as a grassroots, face-to-face model that has become America's largest discussion program on world affairs.
Pasadena Village is pleased to present this eight-session program that involves reading a chapter each month from the Great Decisions Briefing Book, gathering at the Village social room to watch a DVD and discussing the most critical global issues facing America today. Our very own Bob Wilson will facilitate the discussions. Bob’s interest and knowledge about foreign affairs stems from the time he spent living and working in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other places
in the Middle East.
The topics for this series are: Energy geopolitics, war crimes, China and the U.S., economic warfare, politics in Latin America, global famine, Iran at a Crossroads, climate migration. The program will begin on Tuesday, February 14 from 3:00 – 4:30 PM and will meet once a month on the second Tuesday of the month.
