Price
Pasadena Village is a member of the national association of Villages, Village to Village Network. The theme for this year's national conference is Empowering the Future - Celebrating 25 Years of the Village Movement.
You can register and receive your own Zoom link, or you can come and watch the presentations at the Village Office with fellow Villagers and staff. Registration to view remotely on your own device is $50. There is no fee to view the conference at the Village Office.
We will serve lunch - please reserve your space if you plan to join us for lunch.

1. A Village Response to Disaster
Having systems and partnerships in place can make disaster response more immediate and effective. Attend this session to hear how Pasadena Village responded to the Eaton wildfire which impacted all of its 230 Villagers in different ways.

2. A Strategic SWOT Mission
Find your organization’s balance between mission, fiscal solvency, and delivering value. Strategic planning is a collaborative, proactive conversation that can help establish a firm foundation for a Village, expand or deepen its member engagement, and ensure long-term viability in a community.
3. A Artificial Intelligence for Villages
Demonstrate uses of AI to improve the effectiveness of Villages (e.g., fund raising) and lives of Village members (e.g., communicate with grandchildren).

1. B The Power of Inclusion: Developing Culturally Diverse Villages in Baltimore County
The Villages of Baltimore County have actively supported individuals from a wide range of cultural and demographic backgrounds. This presentation offers valuable insights for those looking to establish new Villages in multicultural settings or to broaden the reach of existing Villages to serve more diverse populations.
2. B Preparing for The Dementia Tsunami: Helping our Villages Prepare, Care, and Cope
Dementia prevalence is increasing, affecting our Villages and their missions. We can empower our communities by hosting events to help people understand dementia, encourage values clarification regarding later life preferences and assisting with planning workshops, including living wills for dementia. The presentation will include links to relevant electronic resources.
3. B Less Medicine More Connection: Social Prescribing and Better Medication Use
Prescriptions no longer come just from pharmacies. Social prescribing is an important aspect of one’s healthcare. Learn how Villages can reduce social isolation and loneliness to improve health outcomes. Simultaneously, avoiding high-risk medications is necessary for successful social prescribing. Thus, we will discuss strategies to promote age-friendly medications.

Where Healthcare Intersects with Community: Developing Relationships between Villages and Local Healthcare Organizations
This presentation highlights why connections between healthcare organizations and Villages can be mutually beneficial. We will share a pilot project between a Village and healthcare organization who through recognition of aligned goals and bi-directional education provides Village members with added support and resources from both the Village and their providers.
