Villager and Board President Dick Myers will host a conversation about preserving and telling stories. This poignant topic has become more urgent in the aftermath of the 2025 Eaton Fire.
Azalea Camacho, Head of Special Collections and Archives at California State University, Los Angeles, will talk about archiving and its relevance and process. Kirsten Farrell, Director of the Goodman Center, will share about storytelling and how that fits into the archiving project Pasadena Village is working on.
Those interested can use this information to write your own story, interview others about their personal narratives, or contribute to the Pasadena Village archive project.
The Goodman Center is known for workshops in storytelling, presenting, strategic communications and more. Learn more at https://www.thegoodmancenter.com/
