Griffith Observatory is featuring an award-winning planetarium show called "Signs of Life" which explores how and where astronomers and biologists are searching for life beyond Earth.
Producer/Director/Writer/Villager Bob Niemack will talk about how "Signs of Life" was made, using rarely shown behind-the-scenes videos to explain how the show was conceived and created, and will reveal secret hidden elements to watch for in the program.
After the presentation at the Village Office, join Bob Niemack for a trip to Griffith Observatory to see the 2:15 PM live presentation of “Signs of Life” in the Samuel Oschin Planetarium.
Carpool will be arranged and VIP parking will take us near the observatory but plan to walk along mostly level ground to enter the observatory. We will be able to explore the observatory offerings before and after the show. We’ll return to the Village Office around 4 PM.
This is the second time Bob is offering this presentation and excursion through Pasadena Village. This intergenerational program will include high school students from Girl Scout Troop 5571 as well as other guests.
