VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Members of the Pasadena Village create the community they want to be part of. They volunteer to lead tours, offer rides, make presentations and schedule speakers. They share tech skills, help Villagers at home, and plan, set up, and assist at Village events. Small group gatherings are created by members based on their interests, and some members participate in the governance of the Village by serving on the Board or on committees. Volunteers are the driving force behind the development and continuing success of the Pasadena Village community.

Community volunteers of all ages contribute in a myriad of ways, depending on their availability and interest.

Become a volunteer driver

• Accompany Villagers to medical, dental and other appointments.

• Bring Villagers to Village events and take them home. 

• Drive Villagers to the library, post office, grocery store, or other local businesses

• Provide local, door-to-door transportation

Help a Villager at home

• Assist Villagers with one-time or short-term garden projects
• Bring Villagers occasional meals
• Perform minor household repairs
• Provide temporary pet care
• Visit Villagers at home or in the hospital
• Change batteries in smoke alarms
• Help with paperwork
