Can you be a resource for youth anxious about climate change? Yes you can!
Many adults are also concerned about the effects of extreme weather and its many causes. Since popular media rarely publicizes good news about existing actions to address climate change, young people may not have anyone to share their fears for their future with. Thus anxiety can lead to feelings of loneliness and overwhelm.
Please join us for a meeting to explore a new 4-week program to match each Villager participant with a youth buddy to share feelings about climate change and discuss ways to manage anxiety. We will learn about resources and strategies already in practice.
If you have any questions please contact the event organizers, Maureen Kellen-Taylor or Jim Hendrick.
