After 20 years, more than 500 performances, and three Grammy Awards, Maestro James Conlon brings his tenure as LA Opera's Richard Seaver Music Director to a close on April 24 @ 7:00 PM at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The concert will end at approximately 8:00 PM. The farewell concert draws from three pillars of the operatic canon: the jubilant finale of Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, the dramatic sweep of Verdi's La Forza del Destino, and the sparkling wit of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, all performed by the full LA Opera Orchestra and Chorus.
