Villagers and neighbors are invited for a brief ribbon cutting to celebrate our new Little Free Library. Everyone is also invited to stay after for a talk from one of our Members, Suzie Hoge, on Little Free Libraries.
Pasadena Village's Educational Programs Team and Villager Susan Carr invited Josh McCurry from Flintridge Center to present about their programs several months ago and they were interested to learn more about how Flintridge supports the formerly incarcerated and interrupts the cycles of poverty and incarceration. They were excited to hear that free libraries were available and Villager Jim Hendrick worked with representatives from Flintridge to have one installed in front of our office.
Book Donations Welcome
Feel free to add to our free library. We invite you to help us stock the free library, or contribute books to our growing lending library of books related to aging (available to check out in the Village Office).
