Member Jeff Gudstadt and the Cultural Activities Committee invite you to experience the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall. Pasadena Village has the opportunity to purchase group tickets for the Sunday matinee performance of Beethoven’s Fourth Concerto and the Der Rosenkavalier Suite.

Seats are in rows B & C in the Terrace East section (the image above approximates your view from that section). Parking is available underground at the Concert Hall. Carpool will be arranged prior to May 14.

“A brilliant musician and an extraordinary visionary” (Wall Street Journal), Pierre-Laurent Aimard has built his reputation as a go-to of contemporary music and collaborator for composers but is celebrated for his interpretation of historic repertoire as well. Aimard joins the LA Phil for Beethoven’s wonder-filled Fourth Piano Concerto, with the unusual quiet drama of its second movement. Eva Ollikainen is the chief conductor of several orchestras in Europe and leads the U.S. premiere of a new work by Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir and the gorgeous Suite from Richard Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier.

RSVPs required by March 15 so we can reserve and pre-pay for enough seats. Please bring a check to the Office, mail a check to the office (236 W. Mountain St. Pasadena, CA 91103) or pay when you register here on the Event Calendar.

Please RSVP by March 15, 2023.
