Calling all Village Walkers! Come march in this year’s Doo Dah Parade*! The plan is to march as the “Pasadena Village Synchronized Walking Team” with each of us using hiking poles to walk in unison. We’ll all wear Village T-shirts to represent. We’ll rehearse our routine at the village office on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 9am, and march in the parade which begins at 11am on Sunday, Nov. 22. The parade route is about 3/4 miles long, starting at Memorial Park on Raymond & Holly and ending at Colorado and Pasadena Ave. If you want to join in, but don’t have hiking poles, let us know. We’ll provide. Come have some fun on a short Village walk and be cheered on by an audience of 50,000.
*The Doo Dah Parade is a fun-filled spoof on the Rose Parade - much shorter, much funnier, much more casual.
