Delve into the stories, rich history and diverse culture of Los Angeles. SPARC's knowledgeable guides will illuminate how each segment of the 1/2 mile mural represents the struggles, triumphs, and contributions of marginalized communities throughout Los Angeles’ history up to 1950. The closest restroom is the College restrooms across the channel which are open to the public. Bring your own drinking water and snack if you feel you might need a boost of energy. Make sure to wear clothes that provide sufficient sun protection from the sun as there is minimal shaded areas along the mural.
We will carpool to this event! We will meet our tour guide on the Southern edge of the Cold Water Canyon Extension.

Accessibility: Visitors using wheelchairs or mobility equipment may need all-terrain tires or adaptive equipment for the surface type and grade. The trail surface is paved asphalt, packed dirt, or crushed gravel and is typically at least 4 feet wide with a mostly gentle (5% or less) grade.
