Join Sue Brian, founder of the Twin Oaks Method, for a gentle introduction to Qigong (pronounced chee-gong), an ancient mind-body practice that is the foundation of Tai Chi. Through simple flowing movements, breathwork, and body awareness, participants will explore practices that may help calm the nervous system, improve joint mobility, flexibility, balance, and teach the body how to move with greater relaxation and ease. This class will be performed standing, and participants are welcome to bring a yoga mat if they’d like the option to practice barefoot. Shoes and socks are optional.
