A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) is a nonprofit that has developed a transformative healing arts program. The art workshops in the AWBW curriculum follow a trauma-informed approach to provide a resource — the opportunity to create art in a safe environment — that can empower individuals and communities throughout the healing process. AWBW has certified over 1,000 facilitators in this alternative to art therapy.

• We start with establishing community
• agreements and sharing the objective of the workshop.
• Then we lead your group in a short grounding meditation.
• Next you will have a window of time to engage in creative expression by making art.
• Then we break into small groups to share with each other.
• Finally, we come back together and there will be an opportunity to share with the entire group.
• No artistic skills, experience, or talent areneeded for the workshops, just a willingness to explore your creativity and connectivity!
